Most major insurance carriers including State-funded insurance plans will provide some level of coverage for ABA therapy services. The type or amount of coverage varies depending on the carrier and the plan. In some cases, families may have a copay or coinsurance due at the time of service. During the enrollment process, we can work with your insurance carrier to provide a detailed benefits review.
Generally, to receive coverage, children must have an official diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental delay. Before receiving services, children must have prior authorization through their insurance plan (our office will request this). Insurance authorizations are typically resubmitted every 6 months.
