ABA therapy services can be provided in several different care settings including at a client’s home, through a client’s school, or at a dedicated Autism center like Midwest (i.e. “center-based” therapy)!
In a center-based care model, you (the parent or caregiver) will bring your child to a Midwest center each day for therapy services. Children enrolled in center-based services receive either full-time (40 hours per week) or part-time (20 hours per week) ABA therapy from a team of direct care clinicians.
Your child’s care team will include a Master’s level Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who oversees their individualized treatment plan, as well as two or more Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) who are specially trained on your child’s care plan. Our teams also have access to a doctorate-level BCBA consultant (BCBA-D) who may assist in the development and implementation of your child’s treatment plan.
Center-based therapy services are available for children ages 2-5 with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder needing a minimum of 20 therapy hours per week.
Because hours for center-based care may conflict with a typical school schedule, children enrolled in school full-time may not be eligible for in-clinic services. To meet the needs of families with children in school, we offer home-based services as an alternative.
