It’s a party – we’re marking our one year anniversary in Minnesota! On October 4, 2023 Midwest opened its first office in the Twin Cities region, located in Woodbury, Minnesota. Since opening our doors, we’ve seen incredible success stories highlighting the power of early intervention Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.
Our success wouldn’t be possible without the support of our community, clinicians, and operations staff. They have, without a doubt, lived our values and our mission each day. We are so grateful for their dedication to Midwest and, most importantly, to the families we serve.

My son has made so much progress while attending Midwest Autism and Therapy in Woodbury, MN since fall of last year. I was nervous about ABA Therapy at first, but he absolutely loves going there every day and with the changes I have seen, how could it be bad? Staff has been very supportive in achieving our goals! I can attest to the positive impact the Edina Midwest location has had on my son’s development. Since he started ABA intervention at 2 years old, he has learned new skills (e.g., signing, social play) and unlearned some behaviors (e.g., stemming via hand wagging). He has learned to redirect some of his energy in more useful and deliberate ways to communicate his needs. This has alleviated a lot of stress for everyone who is a part of my son’s care team, especially our family. We see the results, and we’re proud of his progress. The Edina team knows what they’re doing! Their treatment plan is customized, and they also partner with Olea Therapy to help fill in other needs like occupational therapy and communication development. My son receives both services while he attends ABA treatment from 9am-5pm. He’s paired with an ABA expert in the morning, then has social time, followed by lunch and a nap; thereafter, he finishes treatment with another expert. This schedule may be typical, but the deliberate social engagement from all age groups helps set Midwest apart from other programs.

ABA Therapy and Autism
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is considered the gold-standard for treating Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) which affects about 1-in-36 children across the U.S. (about 3% of the population).
