Most major insurance carriers including State-funded insurance plans will provide some level of coverage for ABA therapy services. The type or amount of coverage varies depending on the carrier and the plan. In some cases, families may have a copay or coinsurance due at the time of service. During the enrollment process, we can work with your insurance carrier to provide a detailed benefits review. Generally, to receive coverage, children must have an official diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Before receiving services, children must have prior authorization through their insurance plan (our office will request this). Insurance authorizations are typically resubmitted every 6 months.
Our goal is to make ABA therapy as accessible to families as possible. So, we contract with a wide range of carriers across Iowa and Minnesota. Below is our list of accepted carriers. In the event your insurance provider is not listed, please contact us and we can request a single-case agreement.
