Sr. RBT Brittney Oxford Accepts New Position as Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with Midwest Altoona

We are thrilled to announce that Brittney Oxford, MS, BCBA, previously a Senior Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with Midwest Autism & Therapy Centers, has accepted a new role as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with our team in Altoona!

Brittney who passed her certification exam in early March, will be overseeing clinical cases in West Des Moines and Altoona as we continue to grow our offices and add new Behavior Analysts to our team. The transition from RBT to BCBA is a major career milestone that Brittney achieved while also building her beautiful family and completing her Masters coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis. Talk about a go-getter!

The Role of A Board Certified Behavior Analyst

As a BCBA, Brittney will be responsible for assessing each of her client’s specific therapy needs, designing tailored intervention strategies, collaborating with families, and overseeing progress towards therapy goals. This position requires not only technical expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis, but also immense compassion and empathy—qualities that Brittney exemplifies.

In addition to working with clients and families, she will also lead a team of dedicated one-to-one therapy providers (RBTs) to ensure that every client receives the highest standard of care and compassionate service possible. Her leadership will be instrumental in fostering an environment where children on the Autism Spectrum can learn and thrive without changing who they are.
