We have recently welcomed to our team, Jonathan Kimball, LBA, BCBA-D., as a consultant for our expanding network of therapy providers. Dr. Kimball has nearly 40 years of experience working with children affected by Autism and other developmental challenges. He is a graduate of Bowdoin College, Columbia University, and Ohio State University where he earned his doctoral degree in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis.
Over his extensive career, Dr. Kimball has published a number of notable presentations and research articles examining clinical best practices, the use of technology in Autism therapy, and the gamification of behaviors to promote sustainability. His dedication to the advancement of ABA therapy and special needs education has earned him the Children’s Champion award from the Children’s Center in Augusta, ME as well as two Behavior Change for a Sustainable World awards from the Berkshire Association for Behavior Analysis and Therapy (2019) and Association for Maine Behavior Analysis (2020).
As a consultant with Midwest Autism & Therapy Centers, Dr. Kimball will be mentoring our recently graduated BCBAs through their first year of clinical practice, providing research support, and offering in-field assistance for complex cases.
