On Saturday, December 9th, the Waukee Public Library will remain open for an extra hour for sensory-friendly browsing and inclusive programming. The Library will offer a dimmed calm room, computer availability, and access to library materials.

Waukee has collaborated with other metro-area libraries to offer two libraries a month to host these ongoing sensory-friendly events. Individuals are encouraged to contact the hosting library for more details on activities at that location.
