The Disability Advocacy Rally at the Minnesota State Capitol is a time for people with disabilities, their allies, and their supporters to come together and advocate for policy change. There’s greater strength in numbers, so please join the Autism Society of Minnesota and their community partners if you can. More info here from the Minnesota Consortium for Citizens with Disabilities (MNCCD).
The pre-rally includes check-in, poster making, learning more about the MNCCD Policy Agenda, and connecting with fellow Disability Justice advocates.
ASL and CART will be provided. There will be chairs, a bariatric bench, and a designated space for people who use wheelchairs. There will be a sensory-friendly space in room 317A of the capitol building.
