Behavior Technician Twin Cities, Minnesota

JOB TYPE: Full Time
LOCATION: Onsite
SALARY: $16-$22/hour
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Midwest Autism & Therapy Centers is seeking reliable and professional Registered Behavior Technicians who can contribute to our client’s success. If you have the necessary qualifications and an interest in working with children on the Autism Spectrum we’d love to hear from you!

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Our RBTs work directly with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) providing 1:1 care and implementing individualized treatment plans (ITPs) for children on the Autism Spectrum. The RBT provides direct therapy, assists with parent training, and collects data related to individual therapy plans.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 4-year degree in a field related to healthcare or social services (preferred)
  • Current RBT Certification (preferred)
  • Reliable transportation

PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Experience working with children under age five
  • Experience working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum

IMPORTANT NOTES

RBTs at our center work primarily with children under age 5 so, this role is best suited to high-energy individuals with outgoing personalities. You must be comfortable assisting with tasks including feeding, potty training, diaper changing, etc., and able to handle challenging behaviors with patience.
